The Secret Life of Anna Blanc - Audio Book Cover Design

Jennifer and I have worked together on several projects, including the audio book cover for her amazing debut novel, The Secret Life of Anna Blanc. We had a lot of fun playing with several ideas for the audio cover before we succumbed to the fact that the best plan was to rework the original book cover (designed by Nicole Lecht) into audio book formatting, and make it legible at a thumbnail size. Check out the book here, and more about the process here.

WHAT JENNIFER HAS TO SAY

Katie Elizabeth gave me several great options for my book cover design. Every one of them was beautiful. It was hard to choose!

She captured the soul of the book, was professional, competitively priced, and on-deadline.

I highly recommend her!

The Secret Life of Anna Blanc - Marketing Materials

Though Jennifer's books are published through Seventh Street Books, she takes and active role in their promotion. I thoroughly enjoyed the exercise in creativity combining vintage photos, modern elements, and Jennifer's witty writing to create ads, social media banners and bookmarks to promote this wonderful read.

MORE FROM JENNIFER

"I just wanted to tell you that at the conference I went to, there was a table where authors dumped their bookmarks (thousands of them). I set mine down in the sea of bookmarks and immediately, people snatched up two. Then, I came back later and they were all gone :). Then, I got a Tweet from someone who went to the conference, picked up a bookmark, and tweeted me to say that my book sounded interesting. OUT OF THOUSANDS OF BOOKMARKS!!!"
